I photographed this male Red-winged Blackbird at the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma.

It’s widely believed that the Red-winged Blackbird is North America’s most abundant land bird. Bird-counting data suggest that there are around a million bird flocks in North America. It is also among the world’s best-studied wild bird species.

How I Got The Photo:

This Bird was near the first section of the auto tour road when you enter this refuge.

Birds In The Snow Here In Arkansas

Here are a few of my photos with birds in the snow. I make sure that I keep my bird feeder full of food for the birds during the winter. When it snows lots of birds will flock to my bird feeder.
