I was parked in front of a Mulberry Tree located at the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma. This Red-tailed Hawk fledgling landed on a branch in front of me. A Raccoon was also in this Mulberry Tree, and it scared the Hawk away, but I did get several photos before this occurred.

How I Got The Shot: Hawk Fledgling In A Mulberry Tree

This refuge has lots of Mulberry Trees that produce fruit during this time of year which attract wildlife.

I had my camera and lens resting on a bean bag draped over the open window of my pickup.
