I photographed this Great Blue Heron With Wingtip Touching Water while I was at the Charleston Lake in Charleston, Arkansas. The Great Blue Heron dove off of a platform in the lake (Great Blue Heron Unique Fishing Method) and caught the fish. It then flies with the fish to the bank to swallow it.

Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias) Wingtip Touching Water
The sight of a Great Blue Heron flying to shore with a fish is a testament to the bird’s strength, skill, and grace. These magnificent birds are a joy to watch and an important part of many ecosystems. Whether you’re a photographer, birdwatcher or simply enjoy the beauty of nature, taking the time to observe a Great Blue Heron in action is an experience you won’t soon forget.
