A Coyote I photographed March 2, 2021, at the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma. It was chewing on a Snow Goose wing.
I parked on the side of the road. I was facing the wrong direction, so I took a chance and got out of my pickup. I used the hood for cover and to keep my camera steady. The Coyote was near the road between Tuff Pond and 4 Corners (south side of road).
I photographed this Coyote on a firebreak at Fort Chaffee here in Arkansas. I was standing on the edge of the firebreak when I heard something walking through the brush near me. I took a few steps, and it moved closer. I sat on the ground and waited. A few seconds later a Coyote walked out into the firebreak in front of me. It stared at me for a few seconds and then walked away.
I was photographing at a friend’s house that butts up against Fort Chaffee. I was hand-holding my camera and lens.
I almost missed this young well hidden Coyote sitting in a field at the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma. I think it was watching some birds nearby. I watched and photographed it for a while hoping to see it catching something but it left unsuccessful.
I was driving the auto tour road at the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge when I spotted this Coyote. I had my camera and lens resting on a bean bag draped over the open window of my pickup.
This Coyote Pup is one of the three I photographed back on September 2017. I have seen four Coyote Pups this summer at the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma. Trying to get a photo of them has been difficult. I finally got a good photo of one on August 25 (One Of Four Coyote Pups).
This Coyote wasn’t afraid of people so I could walk close to it. I was hand-holding my camera.
