I had an incredible experience while photographing near the Ouachita National Forest in Arkansas, where I encountered a majestic Tom Turkey on Thanksgiving Day.
This is Wild Turkey Eggs that I found while hiking the Ouachita National Forest here in Arkansas. The embarrassing part in finding these eggs is that I didn’t see the Hen sitting on the nest (You would think I could see something as big as a Turkey). She flushed off the nest when I walked by. I hate that I scared her off the nest. I don’t enjoy disturbing wildlife especially birds sitting on nests.
Hopefully she will be back on the nest when I leave the area which I did quickly. It was cold that morning (4-13-2020) and that worried me.
