Glance From A Coyote – Capturing the Beauty of Wildlife

As a wildlife photographer, I am always on the lookout for unique and breathtaking moments in nature. During a recent trip to the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma, I had the opportunity to capture a fleeting glance from a coyote.

As I drove down the auto tour road, I spotted this coyote amidst the brush. With just a quick glance in my direction, it disappeared from view. It was a brief moment, but one that I was able to capture and preserve forever.

What I find particularly interesting about the coyotes at the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge is their overall health and vitality. They are some of the healthiest coyotes I have ever encountered, and it’s always a treat to observe them in their natural habitat.

To capture this moment, I had my trusty Canon EOS 7D Mark II camera ready with a Canon EF 100-400 mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II lens attached. The setup was resting on a bean bag draped over the open window of my pickup, providing a stable platform for capturing the shot.

I hope this photo inspires you to explore the beauty of wildlife and to capture your own unique moments in nature. Happy snapping!
