Louisiana Wildlife Insider Featured My Photos in Two Articles

Louisiana Wildlife Insider published two of my wildlife photos in the Spring/Summer 2020 issue. The article, “Anticipated Effects of the 2019 River Flooding on Louisiana’s Deer Part 1,” by Jonathan Bordelon, explores how severe river flooding affected deer populations across the state. The editors chose my image of two deer standing in shallow floodwaters to support the article’s analysis.

They also featured another one of my photos in the Winter 2014 issue. That time, the article was “Cottontails, Swamp Rabbits and Their Management,” written by Mitch Samaha and Jeffrey P. Duguay. The piece covered hunting seasons and conservation plans for Louisiana’s native rabbits. My swamp rabbit photo helped illustrate the species’ habitat and supported the educational content.

Seeing my work in such a respected publication is a rewarding experience. I’m proud to contribute to wildlife awareness and conservation through photography.
