Millipede Crossing National Forest Road

I was walking one of the Ouachita National Forest roads when I came across this Millipede. This was in Arkansas on 10-17-2016. I see a lot of these Millipedes in this National Forest. Horsefly On Rusty Metal

I photographed this Horsefly while in was on an old rusty mailbox here in Arkansas (9-13-2016). Adult horseflies feed on nectar. The males have weak mouth parts and only the females bite animals to get enough blood protein to produce eggs. I photographed this Marbled Orb Weaver Spider on a leaf (11-24-2018). The leaf was on the forest floor and I spotted it while hiking the Ouachita National Forest here in Arkansas.
