This Great Blue Heron with a Sunfish is the same bird I photographed that I thought had a problem (Great Blue Heron With A Problem). These photos are a few minutes before the Great Blue Heron started having problems so swallowing this sunfish maybe the cause.
How I Got The Shot: Great Blue Heron With A Sunfish
I was parked on the side of the auto tour road at the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma. I was in an area known as Tuff Pond which is near the Tuff boat ramp. My camera and lens were resting on a bean bag draped over the open window of my pickup.
