Black Vulture Close-up

For the past 5 years, I have found where a pair of American Black Vultures nest. It is next to the auto tour road located at the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma. The nest is located at the bottom of a hollow tree.

How I Got The Photo:

This Black Vulture was outside the nest near the road. I parked on the opposite side of the road to photograph this bird. My camera and lens were resting on a bean bag draped over the open window of my pickup.
