I decided that this was a great time to take a trip since it is so hot here in Arkansas.
My first stop is here in South Dakota. What an awesome state. I am spending a few days here around the Custer State Park area.
When I leave here I will be heading to the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming and staying for a few days. Then my plans are to go to Yellowstone and the Tetons for awhile. I then will head south through Colorado and New Mexico before going back home.
I’m tent camping this time instead of pulling my little travel trailer. I wanted to get into some areas that would be difficult for me pulling a trailer.
Life is good!
Note: I won’t be able to post very often on this trip.

Amazing trip – used to camp in a tent years ago, one of the best ways to get “close” to nature – have a great trip Steve.

should come upon a bear remember to
slowly walk backwards facing the bear.
