Hikers At Rocky Mountain National Park

This was my first time visiting the beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park. The past few days I have posted just a few of the wildlife I saw in and out of the park. Today I wanted to share some of the views I had.

Note: In the last photo above, look in the center and you will see a few hikers. This will give you an idea about some of the trails I hiked.
The sixth photo shows a couple of Elk in the meadow.

Terrific set of photos – and a magnificent series – the Rockies – Canadian or US – are simply spectacular – your photos bring that awe-filled feeling Steve.

Ah. These are the views I remember of the park. Love these images Steve, they take me back to when I lived in Colorado and visited Rocky Mountain National Park.

Gorgeous shots… what’s with all the dead trees? Looks like what happened around here with the pine beetles…
They’ll destroy to whole forest if they don’t get them under control.

Nice photos Steve. Brings back memories and mixed feelings. My son was lost for 24 hours in Forest Canyon in the park during a hike when he was in college. Scary experience. Can’t resist the urge to say, “stay on the trail,” :) …and keep sending those beautiful images.

Elaine, the park is having the same problem with the pine beetles.

Annette, that would be scary and I can see how someone could get lost.
