I know that ticks are bad on Fort Chaffee but this poor bird is sure having a time with them.

Whitetail Doe

I spotted this doe out in the open and I was also in the open. She did not take off and stood for several minutes while I took her photo. She finally turned to leave and I saw that her ears were covered with ticks. I have been seeing this on most of the deer.
