Even with a missing eye this Eagle still holds his head up and shows why he is America’s national bird. The eagle represents freedom. Happy Fourth Of July!

I have photographed this eagle before: One-eyed Eagle . He is located at the Dickerson Park Zoo in Springfield, Missouri. I just think he is such an awesome bird even with the bad eye.

Happy 4th of July! This is an Eagle that I saw while at the Springfield Zoo. I thought it would be a great photo to post for today.

This young eagle was very difficult to photograph because it would stay in the trees and I was having difficulty shooting through the limbs. The eagle was in the area of the geese I took yesterday, but not sure if he was the one to cause the geese to take to the air like they [...]
