Beavers are two primarily nocturnal, semi-aquatic species of rodent. They are known for building dams, canals, and lodges (homes). They are the second-largest rodent in the world.

I found this skull near a creek. I was not sure what it is but I think it’s a small beaver skull. Groundhogs and gophers have teeth like this but after searching the internet, I think it is a beaver but not sure.
