What an amazing set!
Like something you might expect to see in National Geographic magazine
Awesome!
Ahh, the old dominance test! Wonderful photographs, shows a playful side to their jousting. Thanks a lot.
WOW….
I totally agree with Ilan!!! I love the 1st pic – the language of the one on the right or an “attitude” display – I think I can relate. Lighting is great on 1st. Great set of pic!
So few people get to see this kind of display and ritual – Thanks for sharing Steve – must have been quite the trip! as always great photos
Love the lighting on the 3d pic, your photos certainly show in the eyes they are not totally into it yet, just practicing for the real thing. I agree with Barbara, it’s exciting seeing it thru your eyes, I can almost hear the noise.
Wonderful set of photos! Must have been amazing to watch them.
I am continually in awe of your amazing work Steve!!
Thanks for the awesome comments. I need to invest in a video camera so that you can hear the Elk.
Nice photos of the elk and thanks for shooting them only with your camera….they are beautiful!
Have you seen the Ark. Game & Fish Calendar? It’s a disaster. Instead of beautiful wildlife photographs like yours, each month you have to stare at big fat dudes in camo holding guns or riding in a kayak., one guy talking to ….himself, I guess. Very poorly designed. We know what people look like. It’s not often we get to see two fight mockingbirds, a beaver eating corn on the cob, and the beautiful bull elks.
Get your photographs over to the AG&FC for the next calendar before they put Elmer Fudd on the front cover!
Thank you so much Sondra for thinking my photos should be on that AG&F Calendar.
