The long ears of rabbits are most likely an adaptation for detecting predators. In addition to their prominent ears, which can measure more than 10 cm (4 in) long, rabbits have long, powerful hind legs and a short tail.

Hi Steve,
I like your photos. I am currently attending classes at Hennepin Technical College in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. I was wondering if you would mind if I might choose to do so, to use any of your photos for some of my class projects from time to time. I currently have a project where I need to create a poster and I just need a rabbit (your rabbit_6955.jpg image and possibly a bird if I can find what I want.
