An Osprey In A Nest

A Close Look At An Osprey In A Nest

An Osprey On A Utility Pole

I spotted this Osprey nest 13 miles south of Dubois, Wyoming. It is a fake utility pole next to a real one. When I first saw the Osprey it had a fish in its claw but I didn’t have my camera ready so no photos. This nest is next to the road so I just stayed in my vehicle to get these shots.

Tomorrow I will show you an Osprey in flight.

The Osprey tolerates a wide variety of habitats, nesting in any location near a body of water providing an adequate food supply.
