Arkansas Bull Elk

This is a gallery of a few Bull Elk I photographed in Boxley Valley (Buffalo National River).

I have been posting photos all week long of the Elk I photographed last Saturday at the Buffalo National River here in Arkansas.

    One thing is clear, the introduction, or reintroduction (whichever it may be) of the wapiti into the buffalo national river certainly is successful. An amazing number of beautiful specimens of this majestic member of the deer family. I understand it has been introduced into parts of Pennsylvania and Kentucky as well. Nice, nice photographs.
