Great shots!! Love the DOF and color!!
Great pics Steve! Love the first one – a fav! Have a splendid weekend
This curious little guy must be kin to the red squirrel that haunts my bird feeders – great images – you always seem to catch really great wildlife shots… good stuff Steve!
Great series on the squirrel! I agree with Renee that the first one is my favorite. Love him/her and the background with the branch.
Love these! I also have squirrels in my yard. Great shots!
Nice shots. They’re cute when they’re not stalking my feeders.
Love the little guy, great shot Steve, especially liked the crispness of him in the forefront, and the fuzzy background, really cool. I only have one squirrel and even then only ocassionally. I get hundreds of birds tho, right now the sparrows are taking over, I think the squirrel is intimidated by them. I guess that’s a good thing.
Definitely looks like it’s waiting it’s turn for the feeders. Great shots all. 1st one my fav also.
I love it. I actually got a few photos of a ground squirrel while we were at Crater Lake this week. This one was on a limb and eating and not running away like another one elsewhere in the park. I hope to post them soon. Actually got to see a black bear cub as it ran from hillside, down to road then back up. Hubby said he wouldn’t stop car for me cuz he knew there was a momma bear not far behind. DUH! It was a joke, and I knew it.
Thanks everyone for the great comments.
The squirrel looks as he or she was playing peek a boo with you Steve, so sweet. I had a pai of baby squirrels that fell out of a tree that came down, that I raised at 14 years old. I had to feed them thru an eyedropper. I think they gotten hurt thru the fall, as they died a couple days later, I cried for a week.
