I just saw one in my garden. Thought it was humming bird is rare to see this in canada? because it was my first time seeing one.

Ok…This little creature just freaked us all out. It was suckung on my hummingbird bush and flitting around just like a hummingbird. Thought is was a baby at first but noticed the atennae. Took some pics to try and identify it and finally came across it. Your main pic looks almost exactly like the one we had today. I live in Michigan & have never seen one before.

Sharon, thanks for sharing you experience with the Hummingbird Clearwing Moth. I would only see them once in awhile here in Arkansas but not I see them all the time. I’m glad you saw one.
