House Sparrow Eggs

I noticed that the male House Sparrow continues building on the nest after the eggs were laid.

Here are the photos of the baby House Sparrows: Newborn House Sparrows

Awesome set of photos showing so many different things. What is he adding to that nest? That close up of the 7th one is great and the eggs as well.

Just wonderful photos of these little guys, the close-ups just took my breath away and the eggs touched a mothers heart. Love the look of fierceness of the male & tendeness of the female, altho don’t mess with a mom’s eggs or babies or she just might attack.

I’m glad everyone enjoyed the House Sparrows. I know a lot of people don’t like them but they are cool to photograph.

Love it. We had a lot of birds now. Am considering not putting any more suet out as the european starlings eat it all in one day. Anybody have a way to feed other birds and the scavengars? I miss my woodpeckers, as I know they are around. We watched different birds come to feeder today but it’s empty for now, i guess they like their treats!

    I meant, not the scavengars!
