Goodyear Blimp Over Lavaca

The Goodyear Blimp Over My House

Someone In The Goodyear Blimp

The Goodyear Blimp Flying Over Lavaca, Arkansas

About 10:00 AM yesterday I heard something loud in the sky above my house and thought that it was either going to land or crash. It turned out to be the Goodyear Blimp flying low directly over my house.

I didn’t have time to check my setting on my camera so I was lucky these even turned out.

Goodyear blimp sightings are rare these days. Good shots and glad you took the time to photograph it. In a couple weeks, my brother and i will be photographing hot air balloons at a festival. That is fun and noisy all at the same time. Have a good weekend!

That is so wonderful! Takes me back to childhood. Used to get so excited to see th blimp fly over or near when it was in town for Cowboy games or when we would see it docked in Houston. Did not even know it was still in use – thought some fool had put it in a museum somewhere! Thanks Steve for making my day and for jogging the memories. Maybe another generation will be excited too.
