A Great Egret In The Fog

A Closer Look at the Great Egret Standing In The Fog

A cold front has moved in this week here in my area of Arkansas and Oklahoma and it has brought a lot of early morning fog. Most of the time I pass on photographing birds when the fog rolls in but I like the way this Great Egret appears in the fog.

Photos made at the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma.

Very nice photos Steve – love the look of the mist and the bird just popping out.

Beautiful – moody and soft. A different take on a very aggressive angler.

This Egret & it’s reflection in the fog make a beautiful combo. You have such an eye for the unusual in wildlife.
