3 Steve Creek November 12, 2009 at 3:26 pm: Justin, the first day I saw the deer crossing the river I had my Canon 100-400. The next day I brought my Canon 500 f4. I would guess that I was about 50 to 75 steps from these deer. It was very low light with a light fog.
