I hiked the Cedar Creek Trail at Petit Jean State Park here in Arkansas yesterday. I decided not to carry my camera equipment and took these with my iphone.
This trail winds along a scenic section of Cedar Creek above Cedar Falls. Constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the early 1930′s, this trail’s rock steps and bluffs create a few difficult steps. The rocky mountain stream, high bluffs, and thick vegetation make Cedar Creek Trail perfect for experiencing local bird and plant life.

WOW. These are great photos especially taken with the IPhone. Just a hint of all in the air?
Some of my favorite photos of the water and from your iphone at that!!! I always love the water or here in AR we call this a “creek” as your title indicates. Thanks for the refreshing views on this great Sun.
Cool and refreshing! Nice pics from your iphone. Sometimes I wish I had one but don’t need all those other apps so why? Have a great weekend!
Really lovely photos Steve. Good work with the iPhone.
Thanks everyone!
That is awesome Grandpa Creek . Especially with an Iphone ! I found out that one of my friends named Kindel Berry is or was related to me .
Those pictures look so refreshing. I can just visulize sitting on the bank, with a fishing pole, and a picnic basket, just sitting there relaxing, & listening to the sounds of running water and birds singing. Once again ,Great pictures Steve ! Thank you for sharing.
Woohoo I’m backkkk, enjoyed visiting my daughter in Minneasota, but glad I’m back. Love creeks too, had a wonderful one + small pond under two huge oaks on the farm I grew up on in Ohio. Learned how to swim in that creek and spent every summer in it. The 2d pic looks like the creek we had at our home in Eureka Springs. So many memories arise from your pics. Thanks Steve
Beautiful scenes – I love the bridge & reflection in the 1st shot! WoW!
