I guess people think that the Kerr Dam area is a great place to dump unwanted cats. I see several every time I go to photograph the gulls. This one decided to keep an eye on me.

That’s horrible that people do that. But the cat looks well fed so is probably keeping the mouse and rat ratio down. And there is water. But it still makes me want to go to Arkansas and get these kitties, and I already have three!
I noticed they also feed on some of the bait that the fisherman leave. All the cats do appear to be in good health. I also noticed they don’t seem to bother the birds that perch on the rocks.
