A Snake Crossing The Gravel Road

I have not seen many snakes at all this summer and I am not sure why. I did see this one crossing the road in front of me and I was able to grab a quick shot.

Yellow-crowned Night Heron Catching A Turtle

Yesterday I posted photos of a Yellow-crowned Night Heron Coughing Up A Crayfish. These are photos of one catching a turtle but it didn’t keep it for very long before it dropped it and went back to catching crayfish.
