I was watching a Great Blue Heron when I noticed this Barred Owl watching something in a field. This was late in the morning and I rarely see one this time of day. The last photo shows how bright the sun was. It moved around to different trees but stayed in the general area.

Always enjoy your owl photos. Have two owls that I everyonce in a while catch site of just before the sun goes down.
yesterday and this morning i have seen what looks to be the barred owl in a small woodland where i live in west yorkshire , england. uk. …i dont know if they live in this country?
