Antelope Island Jack Rabbit

By | May 10, 2013

I did see a lot of Jack Rabbits while I was visiting Antelope Island State Park but I just couldn’t get a good photograph of one. I don’t have a good excuse for why I didn’t. They were close to the road and they would even pose for a few seconds before disappearing in the thick brush.

I hope you enjoyed my photos the past few weeks in reference to my trip to Utah. The weather changed for the worse while I was camping at Antelope Island. On my last night I awoke to the wind blowing so hard that I thought it was going to pick my camper up and drop it into the Great Salt Lake. The wind was blowing 70 MPH and the weatherman said that it was going to increase to about 90 MPH with snow on the way. I made the decision to head back home and try to avoid the bad weather. It was still a great first visit to Utah.

I’m glad you are safe. I did get to see a bit of your blog while I was in Nicaragua. Saw your trailer, nice! I have a few photos up of my trip and will continue to work on that. Did find some animals to photograph. Saw a little gecko but didn’t have my camera on me. Sigh! It was late and I was getting water from the kitchen (clean, filtered water). At least I got to see it! Have a great day and thanks for sharing your work.
