A Pair Of Bobcats

I spotted this pair of bobcats this pass weekend at the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge. They stopped long enough to pose for me.

A dominant male will travel with a female and mate with her several times, generally from winter until early spring; this varies by location, but most mating takes place during February and March.

Wow! I’ve heard bobcats are in my area, too, but I have never seen them. Great shot!

Gorgeous. I had a bobcat on my back fence about 2 months ago. First one I’ve seen in almost 30 years. Lovely creatures and a great shot, Steve!
