A Nice Bull Elk To Start The New Year

I was able to take these photos of this nice Bull Elk on New Years Day. (Buffalo National River here in Arkansas.)

Oh Steve, These photos are awesome! The fur looks so soft I just wanna touch it. Wish I was like Dr Doolittle, I so wanna talk to the animals. Bless you for sharing your talent!

Amazing photos! How’d you get him to pose for you?
I haven’t seen many elk in the Kootenays, but I know
they’re around.

Angie, I was down in a stream bed about ground level with the elk. Another photographer was walking through the woods behind me and this got the elk looking my way.
