This rabbit was so funny. He would run ahead of me and then flop down on its stomach.
The Dwarf American toad, is a smaller version of the American toad which reaches lengths of about 2 1/2 inches and is generally a dark reddish color.
Their habitat is small wetlands in low-lying areas. Green Herons are most conspicuous during dusk and dawn, and if anything these birds are nocturnal rather than diurnal, preferring to retreat to sheltered areas in daytime. They will feed actively during the day however if hungry or provisioning young.

I took this photo near No Name Lake at Chaffee Crossing (Fort Smith and Barling, Arkansas).
The Red-eared Slider is native to the area around the Mississippi River down to the Gulf of Mexico. It thrives in warmer climates, particularly the Southeast quadrant of the United States. Such an area would be east of and below Colorado to Virginia down to Florida, naturally residing in areas with calm, fresh, warm water.
The male Purple Martin (top photo) has white foam coming out of his nose. Not sure why.
